Mary Jane Garrison, 62, of Oxford, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at her residence.

She was born February 8, 1960, in Lafayette to late Joseph and Ruth Jane (Perigo) Garrison. Mary worked as an Accounts Manager for Lafayette Country Club for over 15 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially loved making meals for them.

She is survived by her 2 brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Garrison of Indianapolis and Robert Garrison, of

Merrillville; her loving companion, Rick Matlock of Oxford; as well as other family members, Dustin Matlock,

Lynessa (Chris) DeVries, Jillana Matlock, and Brentley Matlock, all of Lafayette. Her loving 13

grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Garrison, Jr. and Ruth Jane (Perigo) Garrison and sister Penny (Garrison) Leddon

A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Spring Vale Cemetery, 2580 Schuyler Ave., Lafayette, IN 47905, with Pastor Terry Chase officiating.

I worked with Mary at Zayre for many years, she was a beautiful women inside and out! We used to party at her house on hartford st!! You will definitely be missed! Rest In Peace Lady ??

I accepted a job 25+ yrs ago and got a friendship that lasted a lifetime. So many fun times, so many memories I'll cherish. We couldn't even go to the ER without making it a trip to remember..Our last and final hooray.. Rest in peace my friend. I ran around with Mary G and Mary C. Our trips to Twin Lake to go swimming. The drive-in to see Saturday Night Fever. Driving around town and we had a lot of good times together. RIP Mary

We love you so much, Aunt Mary. We knew you were always there for us kids and my mom. I'll miss your warm smile and words of encouragement. Rest in peace.
