Mary Ann Holliday, 87
Mary Ann Holliday, 87, of Lafayette, died at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Regency Place.
Born March 17, 1923, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late William and Dora Burkenpas Klaiber. She graduated from Wea High School in 1941.
On March 17, 1949, she married Harry C. Holliday Jr., and he died on Oct. 30, 2004.
Mrs. Holliday worked at Haywood Printing in Lafayette for 38 years, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of First Christian Church and was a member and past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star Hope Chapter 5, Emera Club Narfee.
She enjoyed feeding the wildlife, especially Deer, and collecting Hummel figurines and Boyds Bears.
Surviving are two nieces, Libby A. Avery of Lafayette and Kathy Foglesong of Morristown, Tenn.; a nephew, Graham Klaiber (wife: Lilly) of Bakersfield, Calif.; a great-niece, Kara Skrzypczak (husband: Bart) of Lafayette; a great-nephew, Sam Foglesong of Morristown; and a great-great-nephew, LucianGraham Skrzypczak. She was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew William Klaiber; and a sister-in-law, Joan Graham Klaiber.
Visitation from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service on Friday, June 11, 2010, at Rest Haven Memorial Park, the Rev. Greg Eberhard officiating. Interment at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Those wishing may contribute to charity of choice. Send condolences to www.soller-baker.com

Libby and family,

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Mary Ann was a friend and of course a wonderful gal. I enjoyed her so much she had so many friends and had so many stories. She will be missed greatly by all that knew her. She sure enjoyed her jewelry. I will miss my visits with her and the We at Stall and Kessler&s will miss her visits as well. family that always returned. She had a great life and It makes me happy to know she is back with her beloved Harry.
