Martin “Marty” Yoder, 65, of Lafayette, formerly of Brook passed away October 4, 2018.
Born in Rensselaer to Trennis and Leonia (Carroll) Yoder. Marty was raised in Mt. Ayr and graduated from North Newton High School in 1971. Marty loved to fish and hunt and was on the 2003 Indiana State Fishing Team.
His marriage was to Carol Fleming on November 5, 1971. With this marriage they had a beloved son, Jason (wife Beth) and have been blessed with one loved granddaughter, Noelle.
Marty worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation for 24 years before becoming sick in 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Trennie and Allen; and a sister, Vicki.
The family will be holding private services.
