Martha Jean Pendleton Gellenbeck, 69
Martha ” Jean” Pendleton Gellenbeck, 69, of West Point, IN, died at 9:29 AM Monday April 11, 2011 at Indiana University Health.
She was born June 30, 1941, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Walter and Goldie McCracken Pendleton.
She graduated from Southwestern High School. On January 10, 1960 she married Robert H. Gellenbeck and he survives.
Mrs. Gellenbeck enjoyed embroidering, listening to country, gospel, and bluegrass music, reading, refinishing furniture, putting together puzzles, cooking for her grandchildren and the local farmers, baking pies, feeding and watching her birds, gardening, lawn mowing, and taking care of her flower beds. Her most vaulable time was spent with her family and her grandchildren.
Mrs. Gellenbeck was self-confident, warm-hearted, caring, and a very compassionate and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being a housewife and taking care of her family and husband. She had a keen sense of humor and was a role model to many who knew her. She will truely be missed.

Tony Pendleton wife Deb – Lafayette, IN
Grand Children Are – Josh Freed wife Samantha , Beth Anthrop husband Dustin,
Joseph Phillips wife Emily , Kyle Gellenbeck and A Great grandson Deacon Anthrop.

Visitation will be Thursday 10-12pm April 14, 2011 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel
Funeral Service 12pm Thursday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel
Rev. Clayton Kendall officiating.
Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
Preceded in death by a Son- Robert Gellenbeck Jr. , In lieu of flowers
