Marta D. Foote, 72, of Lafayette, passed away at 4:13 am on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at her residence.
She was born April 18, 1943, in Columbus, OH, to the late Martin and Editha Dotson Blum. Marta retired as Director of Employment at Wabash Center and was a member of the YWCA, and the Bali Girls and enjoyed swimming, dancing, following Purdue sports, the NFL, Drew Brees and the Ellen Show.
Surviving are two daughters, Dana Foote of Florence, KY and Kelly F. Velten (husband Daniel) of Lafayette along with a grandson, Benjamin Velten of Lafayette.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Rev. Clarinda Crawford officiating.
