Mark L. Clark, 70, of Hawesville, KY, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City, IN.
He was born March 31, 1954, in Gary, IN, to the late Paul and Helen (Romack) Clark.
Mark attended Lowell High School and studied to be a journeyman machinist in East Chicago, IN.
On November 19, 1977, he married Rebecca Roach in Dayton, IN and she survives.
Mark worked as a Machinist at South Lake Machine, Instrument Maker at Purdue University, Machinist at General Foods, Building Maintenace Associate at Subaru and retired from Monsanto as a Maintenance Planner in 2015.
He was a member of Kossuth Street Baptist Church for many years and recently attended Hawesville Baptist Church.
Mark enjoyed Purdue basketball, NASCAR, BMW long distance motorcycle touring, collecting cookie jars, and researching his family’s ancestry. Mark was good with his hands, and he could fix anything, around the house or at work.
Surviving along with his wife is his daughter Amber (Brock) Bahler of Pittsburgh, PA, and grandchildren, Emerson and Olivia Bahler.
Also surviving are his siblings Rex C. (Judy) Clark of Cedar Lake, IN, Lana S. (Richard) Melton of Peoria, IL, and Mary (Dave) Stone of Lafayette, IN.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm until the time of service at 12:00pm at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN. Pastor Don Whipple will be officiating.
Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, IN.
In honor of his love for Purdue basketball, guests are invited to wear Purdue attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County, KY- Vastwood Park.
