Marjorie A. Beever, 93 formerly of Delphi went to be with the lord at 3:20 am on Thursday, December 22 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
She was born on August 26, 1923 in Lafayette to the late Alfred B and Mabel (Dudelson) Jolly.
Her marriage was to Dwayne E. Beever on June 21, 1941 in Lafayette and he survives.
Marjorie had worked at Loeb’s for thirteen years as well as various other stores before retiring.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, needle work, arts and crafts.
Surviving along with her husband are four children, Donna Wendorf of Texas, Mary Beever (husband Tim Overman) of Mulberry, Dennis Beever of Delphi and Perry Beever of Mulberry. Also surviving is a sister, Jean Strickfaden of North Pekin, Il, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Josephine Schmidgall.
A private family service will be held with burial at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
