West Lafayette, died at 8:45
PM Tuesday November
15, 2011 at her residence.
She was born December 25,
1937, in Tippecanoe County
to the late Carl and Christine
Whitlock. Marilyn
attended Lafayette Je!erson
High School and on June
23, 1956, she married Dale
Riley in Sterling and he
preceded her in death on
June 2, 2003.
Marilyn was a devoted
mother and wife. She served
the Lord and was a life long
member of the Church of
God of Cleveland, TN and
attended the Victory Temple
Church of God in Lafayette.
She traveled abroad with
her husband, ministering
to the Military in Europe
and Central America. Mrs.
Riley was a retired greeter
at Meijer.
Surviving are her children

Ted, Lafayette, Karen E
Raza husband Kashif, West
Lafayette, Dale R Riley wife
Tammy, Lafayette, Marsha
G Lee husband Bud,
Groesbeck, TX and Randall
J Riley, West Lafayette,
a brother Mark S Riley
companion Allen, Indiana;
13 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1 hour
prior to a 1:30 PM service
Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette
Chapel, 400 Twyckenham
Blvd., Bishop Jim
Burchell o””ciating. Interment
will be at Tippecanoe
Memory Gardens.

Regetfully, we will not be able to attend the visitation or service for Marilyn. Our sympathy goes out to all of Marilyn&s friends and family. I considered Marilyn one of my favorite cousins. When we were very young, we spent some time growing up in the same household. And still, I remember how gentle and gracious she was. More recently, we would see Marilyn at the Meijer&s store always being as I remember her........friendly, gracious and kind. She would always ask about Mom and our family. I know Marilyn will be missed by all those who knew her. But, as they say, ""our loss is Heaven&s gain."" I am confident Jesus will greet her with open arms.
