Marie M. Skinner, 79, formerly of Lafayette died at her residence in Evans, GA.
She was born September 16, 1932, in Tippecanoe County to the late Carl and Ruth
Lucas McManama. Marie married Len Skinner and he preceded her in death in
1999. Marie worked in the Library at Purdue University and is retired. Surviving are her son Gary Buckles wife Kay of Folkston, GA, 2 grandchildren and a sister Marilyn
Carter of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, 3 sisters and a brother. Entombment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

I was saddened to learn of Marie&s death. I had the pleasure of working with her in the Purdue Libraries for many years, and the joy of meeting and talking with her several times after her retirement from Purdue.
