Mabel Lynn Burkhart 4/23/1964-1/18/2021
Lynn was from Benham, Kentucky but spent most of her life in Lafayette.
She worked in the service industry most of her life. She was a former bartender at the Linnwood Tavern and loved socializing with all of her patrons. Lynn was always fun, exciting and showed everyone she met how much she cared for them. She found out at the age of 38 she was having Samantha, her life changed. She dedicated herself to being an amazing mother. Eight years later she developed breast cancer. She went through chemo, lost all of her hair, had her breast removed and still prevailed. Her loyalty was her best quality. You knew if she had your back. You knew she would always protect you.
She is survived by her beautiful daughter Samantha Ray Burkhart, her brothers Levi Bennett (Shirley) and Mike Gibson (Barb). She also has numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly; David, Larry, Pairlee, Kimberly, Ethan, Misty, Chris, April, Crystal, Jason, Tracy, Michael, Amanda, Amy, Natalie, Vanessa (Mug), and Emily. As well as many great friends who were like family including Wilma, Tracy and Terry just to name a few.
