Lynn E. Schweiss (née Beck) was born in Hazel Crest, IL, on February 9, 1956, to Lois and the late James Beck. She died on Monday, February 17, 2014, at her home. Lynn married Darrell Schweiss on March 17, 1978, and they had an unbreakable union overflowing with love and friendship. They had a son, Nicholas (wife Kristine), and daughter, Emmalee (husband Corey), all surviving. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 6 siblings and their spouses. She was surrounded by love until her last breath. She will be remembered for her easy laugh, patience, and generosity. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., with Rosary at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lynn's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
