Lorna J. Sherwin, 64, of West Lafayette, died at 10:45 PM Thursday, October 13, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born June 20, 1947, in Lafayette, to the late Robert and Valorie Elkins Clymer.
She graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1965.
On October 16, 1971 she married Kenneth A. Sherwin in Lafayette and he survives.
Lorna was a member of Faith Church and she enjoyed collecting miniature shoes, flower gardening, and spending time and being involved with her grandchildren.
Surviving along with her husband are a son Greg Sherwin (wife Jenny) of Fishers, a daughter
Susan Galvan (husband Hector) of Frankfort and 4 grandchildren , Justin and Grace Sherwin and Alex and Jacob Galvan.
She was preceded in death by a sister Donna Crouse.
Friends will be received from 3:00 pm till the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Faith Church Auditorium 5526 St Rd 26 E. Lafayette, IN 47905.
In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute to the Faith Legacy Foundation for Lorna Sherwin Fund at 5526 St Rd 26 E. Lafayette, IN 47905.
