Lisa graduated from South Bend Riley High School. She then attended Purdue University receiving a PharmD in 1986 before completing a clinical pharmacy residency at the University of Cincinnati.

While at Purdue she met Robert (Bob) M. Wright and they later married on December 27, 1987, in South Bend, IN and he survives. Lisa began her career at St. Elizabeth Hospital/Franciscan Hospital Lafayette in 1987 and helped support Bob while he finished his MD and anesthesia residency at Indiana University. She initially started as a clinical pharmacist in the ICU/CCU. She was instrumental in founding the Coumadin Clinic and contributed to the Healthy Living Center.

She was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church where she served by running the food pantry program and contributing to various committees.

Lisa enjoyed the outdoors walking her various dogs over the years, currently with her faithful companions Logan and Radar. She otherwise loved trips with family most notably to Alaska, Colorado, and Hawaii. Her biggest passion over the last couple of years was getting to be Nana Li to her granddaughter Ella.

Surviving along with her husband are her sons John E. (Leah Andricopulos) Wright of Burbank, IL, Daniel R. (Mikayla) Wright of Whitestown, IN, granddaughter Ella L. Wright, and various aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, 102 Buckingham Drive, Lafayette, Pastor Daniel Eggold officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the food pantries at Grace Lutheran Church and/or Lafayette Urban Ministry as well as Natalie’s Second Chance Shelter in Lisa’s memory.

My condolences to her family and loved ones. Dr Wisler-Wright was a fellow pharmacist at St Elisabeth Hospital, and I knew of her as a consummate professional, mentor, teacher, sharing her compassion with an unmistakable twinkle in her eye, wonderful sense of humor. Rest in peace, Lisa.

The Board and Staff of Lafayette Urban Ministry wish to extend our sincerest condolences to Lisa's husband Bob, her sons, granddaughter, and extended family and friends. May God hold all of you in the palm of His hand.

I know Lisa as a neighbor and mother to two friends of my children. I remember one brave day when she invited all of us to make cookies in her basement, and the kids made an unbelievable mess. Flour was everywhere! It didn't bother her a bit though. During the covid lockdown, I always hoped the doggos would be out to bark at me as I attempted to get some fresh air and exercise. I wish you all peace.

I sat next to Lisa one semester in a auditorium style class at Purdue University. She would sometimes ask if I wanted to finish eating her Hardies fries and I always did. I never spoke to her after that class but she seemed like a truly good person. I recognized this pic instantly. It must from close to when I knew her RIP hon.

I am so saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. She was such an awesome pharmacist. Truly intelligent and she cared so deeply for her patients. She will be missed dearly.

Bob, John, and Daniel, We are deeply sorry for your loss and heartbroken that this world has lost such a remarkable person - a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. We can only imagine the depth of the sorrow you are feeling. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord surround you with His comfort and grant you peace that surpasses all understanding. May He strengthen you in the days ahead with the assurance of His steadfast love and presence, even in this difficult time. May the love and cherished memories you hold always bring you comfort.

Lisa was wonderful to work with, always friendly, always helpful, extremely competent, and always advocated for her patients. She will be sorely missed.

A huge hole has been left in our hearts. All my love and prayers to Bob and the boys.

Lisa has consistently served as part of our clinic team and a true pleasure to work with. She treated us to some of the best garden vegetables each and every summer. Just a few weeks ago, she was sharing a bit about tea and offering samples. Her passing has left our team heartbroken. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and all who were close to her.

I am so sorry Dr. Wright. I am in Florida but my daughter reached out to me. 2 of my daughters worked with her in the pharmacy. They loved her. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
