Lisa B. Wisler-Wright, 62, of West Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Franciscan Health Lafayette. She was born April 13, 1962, in South Bend, IN, to the late Eugene and Virginia (Troup) Wisler.
Lisa graduated from South Bend Riley High School. She then attended Purdue University receiving a PharmD in 1986 before completing a clinical pharmacy residency at the University of Cincinnati.
While at Purdue she met Robert (Bob) M. Wright and they later married on December 27, 1987, in South Bend, IN and he survives. Lisa began her career at St. Elizabeth Hospital/Franciscan Hospital Lafayette in 1987 and helped support Bob while he finished his MD and anesthesia residency at Indiana University. She initially started as a clinical pharmacist in the ICU/CCU. She was instrumental in founding the Coumadin Clinic and contributed to the Healthy Living Center.
She was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church where she served by running the food pantry program and contributing to various committees.
Lisa enjoyed the outdoors walking her various dogs over the years, currently with her faithful companions Logan and Radar. She otherwise loved trips with family most notably to Alaska, Colorado, and Hawaii. Her biggest passion over the last couple of years was getting to be Nana Li to her granddaughter Ella.
Surviving along with her husband are her sons John E. (Leah Andricopulos) Wright of Burbank, IL, Daniel R. (Mikayla) Wright of Whitestown, IN, granddaughter Ella L. Wright, and various aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, 102 Buckingham Drive, Lafayette, Pastor Daniel Eggold officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the food pantries at Grace Lutheran Church and/or Lafayette Urban Ministry as well as Natalie’s Second Chance Shelter in Lisa’s memory.
