Linda S. Sweat, 69, of Clarks Hill, passed away at 8:50 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at IU Health Arnett.
She was born August 5, 1948 in Noblesville to the late Oscar and Lucy Cardia (Brooks) Seabolt.
Linda married Carl Sweat and he survives.
Linda was the evening supervisor of environmental services at Home hospital for 27 years before retiring in 2005.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working in the yard and garden.
Surviving along with her husband are her children, Kimberly Daugherty (husband Michael), Jason Sweat (wife Tina Richter-Sweat) and Carol Sweat (wife Leanna Cherry) all of Lafayette; two brothers, Hubert Seabolt (wife Brenda) of Mellott and Kenneth Seabolt (wife Kay) of Harrogate, TN and a sister, Lorene Cox of Lafayette. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Raine, Rileigh, Michael Jr, Ben, Sydney, Lucas, Chloe and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends and family may call from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Pastor Tony Carson officiating. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
