Linda L. Leverenz

Linda Louise Leverenz, 62, of West Lafayette, passed away at 9:13 AM Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born February 12, 1949, in Emporia, KS, to Betty Watts Rigdon of Colorado Springs, CO and the late Roy Rigdon.
She received her BS and Masters degree from Western Illinois University.
On April 13, 1974 she married Larry Leverenz in Manitou Springs, CO and he survives.
Linda was a Loss Prevention Specialist with State Farm Insurance Company for the past 18 years.
She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, she had worked on committes for United Way, was previously on the Board of Lafayette Crisis Center, and completed “Leadership Lafayette”. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, and sewing.
Surviving along with her mother and husband are two brothers Jim Rigdon (wife Linda), Tom Rigdon (wife Lynn), two nieces Rachelle and Sadie Rigdon all of Colorado Springs, CO.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the 11:30 memorial service and again following the service Friday, December 23, 2011 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church 4703 N. 50 W. West Lafayette, IN 47906 with Rev. Tim Burchill and Rev. Pat Sleeth officiating.
