I've known Les since first grade, one of only three people that I remember that far back. We lost touch for nearly 40 years and reconnected on Facebook in 2008. I have a lot of specific memories about her, but the most important are the human attributes that defined her. Les was always happy, kind, compassionate and supportive of others. Les didn't change at all in that regard over those nearly 40 years. My thoughts and prayers are with Roger and their family.

My sister-in-law, my friend, the love of my brother's life...I will miss you. So many great memories and folly. We laughed, we cried, we shared, we reminisced. Les, you will always be in my heart. I love you!! I wrap my arms around Roger, Danna, Derek, and all the children and grandchildren who were such a focus in Leslie's life. You couldn't have had a more dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend. You were blessed. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. In time the memories will fill your mind, warm your heart and make you smile.

Leslie & I were first cousins. My dad, John Robert (Finney) was Aunt Rosemary’s brother. We grew up together in Kokomo with the rest of our families & had large holiday gatherings at Grandma & Grandpa Dunn’s. Elaine, my sister, & I had a wonderful visit with Leslie & Roger in March. I will cherish that memory & am thankful that she is no longer suffering. RIP dear cuz!
