Lela Mae Fuller Logsdon, 75, died at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at her Lafayette residence.
She was born Feb. 4, 1935, in Lafayette, to the late Charles and Opal Rubright Fuller, and graduated from Montmorenci High School in 1953.
Mrs. Logsdon retired from St. Elizabeth Medical Center in 1993 after 32 years. She was the admitting manager.
She enjoyed crocheting, family history research, and going to the casino.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Couts (husband: Terry) and Susan Horn (husband: Dwight), both of Lafayette; four brothers, Earl Fuller (wife: Helen) of West Lafayette, Leland Fuller (wife: Dorothy), Henry Fuller (wife: Paula) and Donald Fuller (wife: Wilma), all of Lafayette; and a sister, Evelyn Walker, also of Lafayette.
Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Brandon Logsdon, Joshua Beck, Amber and Brian Johnson, Eric Couts and Jesse Couts and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Logsdon, a sister and 6 brothers.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 13, 2011, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Graveside service is at 10 a.m. Friday at Montmorenci Cemetery in Montmorenci. Brandon Logsdon will be officiating. Those wishing may contribute to the Disabled American Veterans.

I&m so sorry about your mom. She was a wonderful lady and I remember your family and mine going out after church and begging to go skating. Those were the good old days.
