Lauren R. Weathers, 43, of West Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.

He was born April 14, 1979, in Lafayette, to Gerald E. and Carla J. (Williams) Weathers. He was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and attended Purdue University. He worked as the Head of Maintenance at Kirby Risk for 23 years.

Lauren’s major passion was his automobiles, he loved to modify each of them. He also enjoyed watching Eagles in flight, deer watching, and all out door activities.

He is survived by his son, Spencer Weathers; mother, Carla J. Weathers; brother, Matthew (Mandi) Weathers, all of Lafayette; fiancée, Rebecca Geib, of West Lafayette; 2 nephews, Morgen Weathers and Monroe Weathers; and half-brother, Randy Weathers of Texas.

Lauren was preceded in death by his father, Gerald E. Weathers.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to until time of service at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Evangelical Covenant Church, 3600 South 9th St., Lafayette with Pastor Stacey Littlefield officiating.

Lauren was a good friend. We knew each other since high school and had a lot of adventures since then. Lauren was a good guy who could fix anything and was always willing to help with other peoples projects...maybe just to show off his tools lol. But he was my best bud and i will really miss his company..
