Kimberly Sue Mendenhall, 50, of Lafayette, passed away at 7:45 am on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at her residence.
She was born October 29, 1965, in Lafayette, to Gary Alan Reed and Linda Sue Clark May.
Kimberly graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1984. She had worked for Marsh Supermarkets and Rohrman Auto Group. She was a homemaker and mother.
On May 8, 1993 she married Timothy Wayne Mendenhall in Lafayette and he survives. Kim was a devoted mother to her son Chase. She loved riding on the back of Tim’s Harley, her dog Miley and the time that she spent with her nieces and nephews. Kim will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Surviving along with her husband, Tim Mendenhall of Lafayette, is her son, Chase Mendenhall of Lafayette, step-mother, Cheryl Reed Rockhill (husband Brian) of Lafayette, mother, Linda May (husband David) of Noblesville, mother and father-in-law, Phyllis and Russell Mendenhall of Rockville, a brother, Gary Reed of Lafayette, sisters, Alicia Taylor of Lafayette and Alaina May of Fishers, step-brothers, James Rockhill of Nebraska and Dustin Rockhill of Lafayette, along with brother-in-laws, Randall, Rodney, Bob and Todd Mendenhall.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Wayne Mendenhall and her father, Gary Alan Reed.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.
Kimberly’s funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 10th, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Pastor Alan Downing officiating.
Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
