Kimberly L. Weaver Daniels, 43, of West Lafayette, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at Indiana University Hospital.
Born March 2, 1966, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Karen Hopper Weaver of West Lafayette and the late Don Weaver. She graduated from Benton Central High School in 1984 and International Business College in Fort Wayne.
She was a secretary in the horticulture department at Purdue University until undergoing an organ transplant in 1993.
She was a member of Northview Christian Life Church. She enjoyed organizing Christmas parties and school supply drives for Lafayette Transitional Housing, her dogs and flower gardening.
Surviving with her mother is a brother, Terry A. Weaver (wife: Jill A.) of Plano, Texas. Also surviving are a nephew, Brock A., and a niece, Britni A. Weaver, both of Plano.
Friends may call 2 hours prior to a 7 p.m. Friday memorial service at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway West, Pastor Robbie Stewart officiating. Those wishing may contribute to the Northview Christian Life Church or Lafayette Transitional Housing.

I am not sure what to say, other than my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know I caused you and Kim a lot of pain and I am sorry. The only thing I can do now is try to stay sober. I had 10 months on March 1st. If there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to give me a call (815-409-2626). If Rebound needs a home I would be happy to take him. I have two dogs now and he would fit right in with them.
