Kevin K. Snyder, 53, of Lafayette, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born February 9, 1962, in Lafayette, to Vernon Snyder and the late Patricia Day. He graduated from Castle High School in Newburg. On October 11, 1997 he married Karen Hohnhaus in Lafayette. She survives. He was a member of Faith Church who enjoyed his Adult Bible Fellowship, Bible studies, and teaching God's word. He was an excellent carpenter and could fix anything. He loved to cook and go bike riding. Surviving, along with his wife is his father, Vernon Snyder (wife Diane) of Evansville, his stepson, Staff Sergeant Andrew Hopkins of Cheyenne, WY, a sister, Linda Morris of Lafayette, a step-brother, Eric Williams of Evansville, and a step-sister, Lindsay Lang of Evansville. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Day. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Faith Church, 5526 State Road 26 East, Lafayette, IN 47905. The funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday also at Faith Church with Burial immediately following at Spring Vale Cemetery. Pastor Trey Garner will be officiating.
