We can likely never know or even comprehend the things our children picked up in their time with Kelly, an important and formative point in their lives - demeanor, mannerisms, phrasing; countless things that are subtle, but make a person who they are. Miss Kelly was so loved by our family. Our oldest daughter was 3 years old when she and her little brother entered our home as foster children. Our daughter had Kelly as a teacher at daycare. I'll never forget the kindness, grace, and love that Kelly had for all our children. Healing comes from relationships and Kelly gave her heart daily to every child she taught. I'll never forget how after a few months of our daughter in our care, Kelly told me that she could see the light of Jesus shining in our daughter's eyes.
