Keith Edwin Butler, 65

Keith Edwin Butler, 65, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022, in his residence.

He was born November 1, 1956, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Edwin and Mary Beever Butler. Keith graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s in general agriculture.

Keith worked as a Meat Inspector for Indiana Dept. of Health for over 25 years. He was a member of Stidham United Methodist Church.

Keith enjoyed cooking, spending time in his workshop and tending to his flower beds.

Surviving are his mother, Mary Butler of Lafayette, sister, Janice M. Skinner of Lafayette, brother, Marvin Butler of NY, nephew, Jason W. Skinner of Lafayette, niece, Jennifer (Josh) Dimmett of Newburg, IN, niece, Laura (Matt) Gross of Ft. Wayne.   1 Great niece and 2 nephew- Elizabeth Simeon, and Jonathon. Keith was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Butler, in 2005.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at Soller- Baker Funeral Home 400 Twyckenham Blvd. followed by the service at 11:30 am. Rev. Darin Hendrey officiating.  Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lafayette.
