Elizabeth Collard left a message on October 15, 2010:
I received the sad news about the loss of Kathleen. Although I did not know her well, I did know how kind, generous, and friendly she was just from conversations in the St. Matt parking lot and from sharing sporting events. Our children played on the same baseball team one year in the peanut league in Champaign and she showed up one day with a matching blue poncho for my daughter Sophie (Austin&s classmate) and for our little dog, so she and her puppy could match. It was such a kind and generous gesture that made both my daughter and myself very happy. She was appreciated and she will be in our prayers forever. May God wrap his arms around your family. Denis and Family,

It was my privilege to be Kathy&s friend. She was soft-spoken and kind. She loved her family very much. Every time I met her for lunch she talked of Austin and Alex and always had new pictures of Lilly.

She will be sorely missed by many people. My heart is broken right now. God Bless and bring you comfort during this difficult time.
