Justine was a wonderful cousin and I will always see her smile and hear her laugh. Anytime someone in the family was ill or passed, Justine made the call to me. I was always anxious when I heard her voice, not knowing what news she brought. On the lighter side, she and Ed flew with Mother on her first trip to CA. She and Ed also picked me up in Indy after she called to tell me I needed to come home as Dad was in ICU. From family gatherings making homemade ice cream, to hot euchre games well into the night, Justine was always somewhere in my life. To her children and family, I’m sorry I’ve not had the opportunity to know you, but I send my love and sincerest condolences.

Dear Marc, Mike & Michelle, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I have so many great memories of her from many years. She was a fantastic Mom, Wife, Sister, Daughter and she was my cousin. Justine & Ed used to come to Peoria in March for her birthday because it coincided with the Mennonite Sale & she could get strawberry pie with my Mom. She had a great smile & was always so happy. I was supposed to be her flower girl at their wedding, but I was only 3 1/2 & I chickened out, but she always said she forgave me. Our cousin Jan did the honors instead. She was a great lady who always put her family first. My heart breaks for you guys. I think it's the hardest thing in the world to lose your Mom. Please know that even tho I can't be there for the funeral, you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.Love you all and may God help you through this and give you comfort. Keep those memories close to your heart and they will see you thru. Sending much love, Your Cousin, Sheri Davis

I so enjoyed getting together with Justine for our "cousins" get-togethers once or twice a year. Justine was a kind, funny and good woman. My sincere sympathies to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom she loved so deeply.

Justine was an awesome lady. I remember when I was little I would go with her and her friend to the movies (usually a John Wayne or Elvis) I thought I was big stuff. I went to the Flora a fair with them one time. They bought me a candy apple (the red sticky kind) we went on the Octopus during one of the spins the apple flew off the stick and just about landed on a lady's head! I was also honored to wear her wedding dress when I married in '65. Had to cut about 6" off the bottom because she was a lot taller than me; I felt like a queen. Lot of good memories! Rest in Peace.

More than my mother she was my best friend. She fought a long hard battle and is now at peace. Love you and miss you so much already.

Best mom ever. Always so loving, caring & supportive. Loved family above all else. We had a great visit on Saturday and afterwards I believe she was at peace and ready to go be with her husband, mom & dad, sisters and all who preceded her. She is happy in Heaven & will always be with us.
