Julia D. Burrell, 97, of West Lafayette, died November 17, 2011 at her residence.
She was born February 4, 1914, in Brook, to the late Richard and Lucy Blake Bowman.
She graduated from Brook High School and On February 4, 1933 she married Charles H. Burrell in Brook. He died September 13, 2003.
She is survived by a daughter Marceline Teany, a son Charles R. Burrell (wife Jacqueline), a sister Helen Sheehan, a daughter-in-law Carolyn Burrell, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son Donald L. Burrell, a brother and eight sisters.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at 2:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2011 at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel 1184 Sagamore Parkway W. West Lafayette, IN 47906 with Pastor Bill Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.

MY AUNT JULIA WAS A LOVING AND CAREING PERSON.SHE LIVED THUR MANY HARDSHIPS ,BUT SHE KEEP HER SPIRITS UP AND WENT ON LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST.SHE WILL BE MISSED.
