Judith Blackford, 69, of West Lafayette, passed away peacefully and joined her Lord on Tuesday, February 24 at Arnett IU Hospital in Lafayette. Judy is survived by her husband Steve, married 49 years, her son Steve, his wife, Lisa and granddaughter, Isabella. Her daughter, Michelle and husband Norbert, step grandchildren, Dominique and Andreas. Also surviving is her mother Helen, sisters' Sharon (Edgar), Janet (Eldon), Susie (Allan) and her brother, Rob (Sylvia). She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon. Judy retired from Macy's December 2010, after 17 years of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Joyful Journey, Inc. in honor of Judy. We will greatly miss her smile, positive attitude and her enjoyment of life and family. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 28 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Memorial service will be at 4:00 pm Saturday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.
