Judith C. Blank, 74, of West Lafayette, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Westminster Village.
She was born April 24, 1943, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late Albert and Marion Schild Bergh.
Judy graduated from Ferris State College School of Pharmacy where she met Jerome (Jerry) Blank. The two were married on June 17, 1967, in Grand Rapids, MI. Jerry preceded her in death December 22, 1996.
Prior to moving to Indiana and starting her family, Judy worked as a pharmacist for many years.
Judy enjoyed her euchre club, gourmet and aquacise groups. She was active for women’s rights by always working the polls as a member of the League of Women Voters. She volunteered throughout the community for her children’s sports groups, school organizations, and church functions. She always answered the call for others in need and was a trustee at Redeemer Lutheran Church in West Lafayette.
Keeping her memories and lessons of love with them are her children Dawn Blank of Noblesville, John (Denise) Blank of West Lafayette, IN, grandchildren Katelyn Blank, Jayden Blank and Noah Gaines.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of the service at 10:30 am on Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in West Lafayette, Rev. Joseph Townsend officiating. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, IN directly following the service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Judy’s memory.
