Juanita Emma Leck, 91, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Signature Health Care. She was born May 5, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Mary Schilli Meekins. Juanita Emma Leck, 91, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Signature Health Care.
She was born May 5, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Mary Schilli Meekins. Juanita attended Lafayette Jefferson High School. Her marriage was to Lou Leck in Lafayette and he passed away August 11, 1988. Juanita worked in the retail business and as a Hostess/Cashier for Holiday Inn and Lane Bryant befor her retirement. Above all, Juanita cherished the time she had with her family and friends.
Surviving are son, Steven (Kathy) Pritchard; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth F. (Ramon) Munoz of Lafayette, Steven (Rochelle) Pritchard, Sean (Brianna) Pritchard; and 7 great-grandchildren, Carter Munoz, Macie Munoz, Josh Long, Garrett Pritchard, Shelby Pritchard, Haiden Pritchard, and Madalin Pritchard.
Along with her husband and parents, Juanita was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim; grandson, Matt; 2 brothers, Bill and Bob Meekins; and sister, Mary Harper.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909 with Father Anthony Rowland officiating.
Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 1200 Sagamore Pkwy North, Lafayette, IN 47904.
