Joyce M. Lee, 67, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. She was born November 15, 1947, in Lafayette, to the late Charles W. and Phyllis E. Layden Kennedy. After graduating from Lauramie High School she attended Evansville University. In 1970 Joyce married Glenn Lee in North Carolina. He passed away in 1979. Joyce had been a caretaker at Westminster Village for over 20 years. She attended Stockwell United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, spending time helping others and watching sports. Surviving are two sons, Jeff Lee (Fiance Tammy Minardo) of Lafayette, and David Lee (wife Amber) of West Lafayette; her brother, Edward Kennedy of Lafayette and a sister, Joan Miller (husband Vern) of West Point. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hanna, Macy, Dalanie and Dawson Lee and Vanessa Townsend, along with five nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 3 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Rev. Mark Berg officiating. Burial will follow at West Point Cemetery.
