Joe was such a precious man. I met him at church when I first started to attend Eastside A/G. Joe, and Julia, made it a point of greeting me and my family every time we were in attendance together. He always, always, had a smile and a joyful countenance for everyone. I always looked forward to seeing him there and occasionally hearing a story about the navy or about the love he shared with his wife and church. I will miss him, but rejoice without ceasing because of his presence with our Lord. Look forward to seeing you later, Brother.

So many nice memories of Joe! Truck rides to the shooting range, coming over just to say hello, and often times when I stood in front of the family room tv, he'd say, "Julia, you make a better door than a window"! He will be missed! Love, hugs and prayers to the Guinn family.
Diana McCormick left a message on November 17, 2020:
We were sorry to hear about Uncle Joe's passing. We made a contribution to your church as requested for Delores. We are sorry she will not be able to be in attendance, as I know she would want to be there, if she could. Love to all. Dale and Diana
