John P. “Elvis” Bosen, 40, of West Lafayette, IN, died Saturday July 21, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 6, 1972, in Royal Oak, MI to Jimmy and Rosemary Rhine Bosen of West Lafayette. John was raised in Gilbert, WVA and has lived in Indiana since 1987. He attended Harrison High School and worked as a machine operator at several factories in the area. John was a member of Wadena Baptist Church and enjoyed John Wayne movies, reading, playing cards and was an Elvis fan. He formerly sang with his brothers in the Bosen Boys Quartet. Surviving with is parents are brothers brothers David, Daniel and Patrick Bosen all of West Lafayette. John was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Joseph Bosen III and grandparents Jimmy and Pauline Bosen, Paul and Opal Rhine. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to a 7:00 PM service on Wednesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel , 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Revs. James W. Downey, William Hall and Jimmy Joe Bosen Jr. officiating. Those wishing may contribute to the Guardian Angel Hospice.

I was so sad to hear of John&s illness and passing. Mom and Steve and Van all extend our condolences and wish that we could be there with you during this time.
I know that as you support each other and fulfill John&s wishes that you will find the strength you need. Please let us know when Daniel and David plan to go to West Virginia, Steve would like to be able to plan to go with them.
