Joan Marie Murdaugh, 89 passed away at St. Anthony Health Care on Wednesday, October 8 at 11:10 pm. She was born December 13, 1924 in Reynolds to the late Daniel Joseph Haysley and Mary Eugenia Herbillion. Joan's first marriage was to James Isaac Newgent on May 5, 1945, in Monticello, together they had nine children. They later divorced and she married Billy Lee Murdaugh on September 12, 1967 in Lafayette. He passed away September 25, 2006. There are no immediate survivors. Visitation will be form 12 noon until the time of the service at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 13 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
