Jesse McDonald Bradford, 87, of West Point, passed away at 2:10 am Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 20, 1927, in Claiborne County, TN, to the late Joe Sefus and Katie Leonard Bradford. Jesse attended school in Claiborne County. On July 2, 1943 he married Minnie Fultz in Claiborne County and she survives, Jesse retired as a carpenter from National Homes after thirty plus years. Jesse was a member of the former Antioch Christian Fellowship. He loved playing the guitar and singing at church functions and also enjoyed fishing, gardening and bird watching. Surviving along with his wife are children, Farris Bradford, Hollis Bradford, Carrie Fassnacht (Donald J.) and Margie Williams (Martin) all of West Lafayette, Amie Kopacz (Michael) of Wabasha, MN, Jessie Rathbone (Dale) of Reynoldsburg, OH, C. Dale Bradford (Shanna) of Lafayette and Helen Shampine (Ed) of Roanoke, VA; brothers and sisters, Grace Dubes, Dorothy Justice, Virgil Bradford (Dana) and Jimmy Bradford (Lois) all of Delphi and Nathan Bradford (Rose) of Monticello; along with 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters Zona Bair and Osie Wilson. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Soller-Baker West Chapel 1184 Sagamore Parkway, West Lafayette, IN 47906 with Rev. Doyle Buckner officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.
