My sympathies to the Shoemaker family. Jim and I were classmates from 1st grade thru 12th. He was always in the top 3 or 4 of the students grade wise!! He was always one of the nicest guys in class. So sorry to hear of his passing. I hope all the good memories will give you comfort!!

I first met Jim when he was transferred to Tippecanoe in Plant Engineering
Later in 1975 I transferred back to Plant Engineering and the two of us were in charge of the group.
Jim was the nicest guy to work with and very bright!

I worked with Jim on a number of projects at the Tippe Plant. Great person to work with. Very very knowledgeable and a great help when as a "Corporate Engineer" I had projects to do at the plant. As we write this, it is difficult to accept that Jim has passed. We enjoyed the weekly meetings with him and Glenda at various restaurants, and the occasional trips to flea markets or antique shops. My wife and I have known Jim for a very long time, and I have always considered him as my best friend. And to Glenda, we will support you in any way we can, please continue to call upon us if you need us.
