Jacquelyn A. Conyers, 68, of Lafayette, died at 8:12 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Clarian Arnett Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1942, in Lafayette, to Emma Eberle Martin of Lafayette and the late Cheslea Martin.
She graduated from Southwestern High School in 1960.
On Dec. 18, 1991, she married Lyle G. Conyers in Miami, Okla., and he survives.
She had worked at State Farm for 16 years before retiring in 2000.
She enjoyed painting, sewing and quilting.
Surviving with her spouse and mother is a son, Tim Rhymer (wife: Jami) of Lafayette; two stepsons, Larry Conyers (wife: Diana) and Lynn Conyers (wife: Debby); two stepdaughters, Lyla Shelton (husband: Gary), and Linda Conyers all of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Harold Martin of Attica and Steve Martin (wife: Barbara) of Martinsville; and a sister, Marilyn Weber of Lafayette.
Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Chad, Alicia and Ashley Rhymer and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Warf
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with a funeral Service at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909, with the Rev. Kevin Bowers officiating. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
