Ida Mae Jones, 87, of Lafayette, died at 10:03 am Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Heritage Health Care. She was born October 12, 1927, in Audrain County, MO, to the late Champ Clark and Mary Beckley Williams. She graduated from high school in Mexico, MO. Her marriage was to Jerry Jones and he preceded her in death. Ida enjoyed the time spent with her family and especially her grandchildren, fishing, traveling,member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses attending Lafayette South Kingdom Hall Ida loved sharing her faith with others. Surviving are her daughters, Bonnie Marsh, Sandy (Dick) Spear and Becky (Dave) Wilkinson all of Lafayette and Jerilyn (Jim) Taylor of East Jordon, MI. Also surviving are her siblings, Mary Ellen Davis of Moberly, MO, Walter (Devonne) Williams, Dorthea (Gerald) Carlyle and Robert (Neola) Williams all of Mexico, MO. As well as seven grandchildren, Jason & Stephanie Spear, Tanya Spear, Shelly & Brad Sumerix, Clayton Taylor, Michael Jones, Joshua & Bridget Wilkinson, Amarah & Brad Anderson and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son in law, Ben Marsh, and brother in law, Frank Davis. Visitation will be from 5:00 unitil 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 12 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Stuart Bollock officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
