Helen Elizabeth Clark (Romack) of Lafayette, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at St Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. She was born in Newton, Illinois on March 8, 1925 to Alfred and Mary Dougherty Romack. Helen celebrated her 90th birthday earlier this year with family and friends. On March 10, 1943 she married Paul H. Clark in Newton, IL and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Glenn and Alfred Romack. She is remembered with great love by her four children, Rex Clark (Judy Holem) of Dyer, Indiana, Lana Melton (husband Richard Melton) of Bartonville, Illinois, Mark Clark (wife Rebecca) of Muscatine, Iowa and Mary Stone (husband Dave) of Lafayette, Indiana, 10 grandchildren Leana, Tommi, Andree, A.J., Branwen, Christina, Amber, Michael, Lindsey, Cecily and 22 great grandchildren. Helen was an active member of Brady Lane Church where she served in many capacities. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, entertaining at home, dressing fashionably and loved her Yorkie, Libby. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Tywckenham Blvd. Service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Jeff Keller and J. William Overbay officiating. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette. Those wishing may contribute to Brady Lane Church Building Fund in Helen's memory.
