Harold G. Holle Sr., 84, of Lafayette, IN, died at 10:46 PM Friday, October 25, 2013 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was born April 23, 1929, in Beech Grove to the late William and Ruby Holle. He graduated from Beech Grove High School and later served in the United States Army. He married Norma Jean Furhman on July 21, 1951 and she preceded him in death. On April 10, 1971 he married Mary Borho in Jasper, Indiana and she survives. Harold worked as a lab technician at Eli Lilly for over 30 years before retiring. He was a member at St. Mary Cathedral. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and even participated in leagues. He also loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving along with his spouse are three daughters, Connie Holle (companion Terry) of Mattoon, IL, Donna Daunhuaer of Lafayette, and Brenda Koch (companion Joe) of Miami, FL. Three sons, Harold Holle Jr. (wife Roxanna) of Lafayette, Ronnie Holle (wife Cindy) of Elkton, MD, and Ken Koch (wife Jennifer) of Lafayette, and a sister, Mary Lou of Elkhart. Harold had 8 grandchildren, Mike, Chris, Kim, Jason, Valerie, Jenny, Becky, and Beth, and 16 great grandchildren, Kassi, Jake, Jenna, Hannah, Hailey, Abi, Preston, Aidan, Addalynn Grace, Adler, Makylah, Teagen, Tait, Ethan, Emma, and Nellie . He is preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday October 28, 2013 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN, 47909. Funeral mass will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at St. Mary Cathedral in Lafayette, with Fr. Jeff Martin officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
