Harold G. Corwin Sr., 75, of Lafayette, died at 9:55 PM Monday November 3, 2014 at Indiana University Health .He was born April 22, 1939, in Lafayette to the late Burton and Hazel Virgil Corwin. He attended Lafayette Jefferson High School. On January 21, 1961 he married Bonnie K. Sanders and she survives. Ed was employed by the City of Lafayette as a General Foreman for the Street Dept. for over 28 years. Ed enjoyed bowling for over 30 years along with being on the water in his pontoon boat, and maintaining his yard. Ed was a member of both the American Legion Post 11 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 347 for over 30 years .He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Alicia and Derek and great granddaughters Braelyn and Camryn. Surviving along with his wife are his children Tammy Hickman (Dennis Hickman Jr.), Michael Corwin Sr. (Erin Mathews – Salazar Corwin), Patty Ann Howe (Jim Howe), a sister Betty Vice, brother Robert Corwin. Grand Children: Alicia Hickman, Derek Hickman, Michael Corwin Jr., James Corwin Sr., Justin Corwin, Elena Corwin, Ethan Salazar, Theresa Styles, Trisha Corwin, Tracy Taylor, Tina Rowland, Dennis Rowland Jr., Kenneth Rowland Sr., Ashley Rowland. Great Grand Children are Braelyn, Camryn, Haylee, Kyla, Avanna, Michael III, Haylie, James Jr., Kadence, Gwyn, Harley, Ryker, Antony, Hope, Britney, Chelsey, Stephanie, Kimberly, Destinie, Dennis III, Conner, Jordan, Kenneth Jr., Addison, Nickolas, Kyleigh. Several nieces, nephews. Visitation will be 5PM-8PM Thursday November 6, 2014 Soller- Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service 11AM Friday November 7, 2014 Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel . Officiating Neal Remaly. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Proceeded in death by: By a son Harold G. Corwin Jr., Brothers: Burton Corwin Jr., Charles Corwin, Kenneth Corwin, Virgil Corwin, two sisters Frances Phillips, Phyllis Corwin.
