Glen Irwin, 69 of Rossville, passed away at 2:25 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Milner Community Health Care.
He was born April 5, 1948 in Lafayette to the late Truman and Evelyn (Howard) Irwin.
Glen had worked construction, at Rostone, Kroger and had retired from Camp Tecumseh.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and playing cards.
Surviving with his wife of 50 years, Marsha Irwin, are two sons, Glen (spouse Pam) Irwin Jr, Travis (spouse Tracy) Irwin and a daughter, Lynn (spouse Kim) Irwin, a brother, Jim Irwin and a sister, Anna Armes. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Cotty, Ashley, Alan (spouse Autumn), Emily, LynLee, Isaac, Isabelle and Ethan as well as six great grandchildren, Americus, Lyric, Avery, Ashtyn, Olivia and one on the way.
He is preceded in death by his twin sister, Glenda Williams and a brother, Bill Irwin.
Friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with Funeral Service being held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 23 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel at 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
Donations may be made in Glen’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
