Gary L. Moore, 66, of West Lafayette passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at his residence.
He was born May 6, 1951 in Lafayette to the late Sidney and Alice (Pressey) Moore. He graduated from Wainwright High School. Gary married Jill M. Taylor on August 22, 1980, she survives. He worked as a Material Handler at Fairfield Manufacturing for 20 years and for Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) for 21 years. He also worked for National Homes.
He enjoyed to fish and go hunting as well as reading, watching movies and cycling.
Along with his wife Jill, he is survived by 3 sons, Tracy L. (Katia) Moore of Kissimmee, FL, Clinton T. (Kim) Moore of Lafayette, Jason L. (Brandi) Jaggers of Tupelo, MS; a sister, JoAnn Moore of Battleground; a brother, Jeffrey A. Moore of Lafayette; 4 grandsons, Caleb L. Moore, Gage Jaggers, Nathan Jaggers, and Lucas Jaggers.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Clayton T. Moore; a granddaughter, Thea Moore; and a brother, Tom Moore.
A memorial service will be held at 6 pm, Friday, January 12, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Vauters officiating. Inurnment at a later date and time at Wyandotte Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Gary’s name may be given to Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana, Spinal Cord Unit, 4141 Shore Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46254.
