Francis Camp, 86 of Lafayette, beloved husband of the late Martha E. Wilds Camp, married in 1948, passed away October 21, 2014 at Signature Health Care in Lafayette due to health complications. He was the loving father of Nancy Phillips (Tom), Joann Rohr (Tom), Mark Camp and Marci Moore (Bill) all of Lafayette. Grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 12, Francis loved and cared for his family deeply and went to great lengths to care for his late mother, Arlie Sheets. Francis worked for Purdue University in the heating and cooling department for 28 years before retiring in 1990. He was known for his sense of style, and always maintained a clean-cut and sharp appearance for any occasion. He enjoyed attending church services at Good Shepherd Baptist Church as well as spending time with his family during cookouts and holidays. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, October 24 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909 with Pastor James Chase officiating. Entombment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Those wishing may donate in Francis's Name to the American Heart Association.
