Fay L. Killion, 84, of Lafayette, died at 5:27a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 after complications from a stroke.
She was born July 7, 1927, in Buck Creek, to the late William and Sylvia Yost Davis.
In 1957 she married Edgar E Killion Jr. who preceded her in death on May 26, 1965.
Working as a waitress at Sarge Biltz from 1965 till 1980, she then went to work for Walker?s Meat and Fish Market.
Fay lived life to the fullest never meeting a stranger and welcomed anyone in to her home as if they were family. Love, laughter, compassion generosity and warmth were always in abundance. She enjoyed cooking and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan.
Surviving is a daughter Terri Patterson of Newburgh; two sons Gary Killion (wife Deanna) of West Lafayette, Carl Killion (wife Annette) of Lafayette; a brother Richard Davis (wife Lucillie “Sam” ) of Lafayette, seven grandchildren, Tiffany and Chase Killion, Amanda McDowell (husband James), Haley Richmond (husband Ryan), Rob and Alex Patterson, Ashley Newcomer (husband Brandon) and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Bill and John Davis and two sisters Jean Hutts and Jeanette Cox.
Visitation will be 5 to 7:00 pm Friday, March 9, 2012 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909 Rev. Timothy Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
