I worked in the office of Beutler Meats in the late 80&s - early 90&s. Evelyn was one of my favorite people at Beutler and also her husband, Tim.

Annette was working there at the same time - cute girl!

Thinking of the family at this time of your loss.

Dear Ev,

I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for having welcomed me in your family with open arms. I will always remember you watching Days of Our Lives on the recliner with cats all around you. I will always remember your rice crispy balls that hundreds of kids were stopping by your house on Halloween. I will always remember the many, many, many trips we made for you to the grocery store because you didn&t feel like going! I am so glad to have met you more than 10 years ago already. I am, along with my family, most grateful to have been able to see you a few weeks ago while traveling back from Ohio. It was so nice being able to hug you one more time. I know that you are watching over your family and friends, and, even after 10 years, you are still wondering what I said most of the time. My French accent - even if slight - always made you smile, and I will always cherish those moments where you were looking at Stanley for a translation of my broken English!

Ev, you will be missed but I know you are now in a more peaceful place. I have no doubt you will be looking over us to make sure everyone is safe and happy. Thanks for having being in my life for the last 10 years.

In one word: Merci.

I have fond memories of Evelyn when we were in home nursing class at Jeff. We had a lot of laughs , didnt take it too serious at the time, but that is what I spent years doing. taking care of the sick, and my husband has had lots of sickness. She was fun to be around.now she will be missed.
