Most of my memories are from Devils lake. Always loved the boat rides in the Hurricane. Zip sled, making huge waves. When I hear Jonny Cash, it takes me back there every time. Homemade Root beer and Ice Cream. Waterproof M-80’s. I do remember a time when Jeff and I were in College, we were at the National Plastics Expo event in Chicago and saw some guy walk by in a bright green suit, white hair, like a giant leprecon or something. We noticed that it was Gene. Was fun to see him.

Please accept our deepest condolences. May the wonderful memories of Uncle Gene bring comfort to you in the days ahead. I remember having a nice conversation with Uncle Gene about plastic manufacturing and his, at the time, new transition to teaching at Purdue. He was very excited about the opportunity to teach the students about manufacturing and how to run your own business. Also, we will always remember the Hanus Brothers’ renditions of “High Silk Hat🎩“ and “Bill Grogan’s Goat🐐.” Ron Ferguson and Family

Thank you for sharing Gene's service with us. It was beautifully done and so meaningful. I shared with you before God had a plan for you two to be together. I will always remember the two of you together....smiling! Hugs!

Dear Nancy, I am so sorry about your loss. 63 years together is incredible and I am sure you will miss Gene greatly. But you will be comforted by the wonderful memories of your life together. I have lovely memories myself of our Florida vacation those many years ago when you welcomed the Swiss visitors like royalty. It was great to meet you both and we have fond memories of Gene.
