Ethel Mae Ziemer, 63, of Lafayette, IN, died at 8:09 PM Tuesday May 12, 2015 in her Residence. She was born April 4, 1952, in Rensselaer, to the late Paul and Lola Lewis Ziemer. She graduated from Harrison High School class of 1971. Ethel had worked at Purdue University for over 25 years. Member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she was active in the many church activities. Delegate for the district conventions and national conventions, held various offices in the church, taught Sunday school from 1979-1984 and was secretary for the Ziemer family reunions. Ethel enjoyed traveling, arts, crafts, fishing and flowers. She is survived by several cousins. Memorial Service Thursday 10am at Redeemer Lutheran Church West Lafayette Pastor Joseph Townsend officiating. Inurnment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
