It was a privilege to work alongside Eric. His infectious personality and occasional “Wisconsin” anecdotes instantly made him the popular person in the room. Eric was also extremely kind. I remember him always bringing cheese curds to my daughter following his trips to Wisconsin. Shortly thereafter she nicknamed him the Cheese Man. Your memory will live on forever through the countless lives you’ve touched. Until we meet again my friend.

MSG Anderson was a great man and an excellent instructor at Purdue's world-class ROTC program. His humor and expertise shined through every interaction and class he instructed. I remember him always telling us that he loved us and you could tell he truly meant it. He molded countless future leaders with his influence and charisma, and all who had the privilege of being in his presence will carry a piece of him with us forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Eric's passing. I hadn't known him that long (less than a year at the Veteran House) but I felt like he and Ko were lifelong friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Ko and their family.

MSG Anderson trained me as a cadet at Purdue University. His mentorship and guidance exemplified the best qualities of the US Army's talented NCO Corps. His memory is a blessing and he will be missed. -Ben

MSG Anderson was an incredibly positive influence in my life during my time as a Cadet at Purdue University's Army ROTC program. I believe that my 8 year active duty military service was greatly enhanced by the time and mentorship that Eric showed to me and the rest of the cadets at Purdue's program. I'm truly thankful for this man, and offer my heartfelt condolences to his family. Thank you.
