Elynor Y. Richeson, 84, of West Lafayette, IN, died at 1:15 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Creasy Springs Health Campus. She was born September 2, 1928, in Rensselaer, IN, to the late William & Louise Zarmstorm Erb. She graduated from Francesville High School class of 1946 and Purdue University in 1950 with a BA in English . On August 26,1950 she married Gordon E. Richeson in Logansport, IN and he survives. Mrs. Richeson taught school at St James Lutheran Church Elementary. A member of Grace Lutheran Church, Lafayette, IN. She enjoyed reading, the symphony, and traveling. Surviving are five sons Mark Richeson (wife Stephanie) of Lafayette,IN, Todd Richeson (wife Jacqueline) of West Lafayette, Dirk Richeson (wife Sandra) of Lafayette, IN, Cole Richeson (wife Debbie) of Woodburn,IN, Kurt Richeson (wife Susan) of Culver,IN; two brothers, Conrad Erb (wife Chris) of Normal,IL, Lynn Erb (wife Dorcas) of Lafayette,IN; two sisters Beverly Schumacher (husband Michael) of Marshfield, VT, Linda Maudlin (husband Joe), of Monticello, IN; Grand Children-Burke Richeson, Danya Kennedy (husband Brian), Brant Richeson (wife Tara), Shay Wilson (husband Dave), Griffin Richeson, Judd Richeson (wife Jacquie), Chad Richeson, Carlie Allgeier (husband Josh), Eric Richeson (wife Lauren), Graham Richeson, Celia Richeson, a Great grand child Coltyn Richeson. She was preceded in death by Brothers- Kenneth Erb, Gerald Erb, and a Sister Jenny Erb, a grandson Landon Richeson. Visitation will be 5PM-8PM Friday, May 17, 2013 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel and again one hour prior to the 11:00 am service Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Ed Morrow officiating. Burial will be at Meadow View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Saint James Foundation Scholarship Fund, 800 Cincinnati St. Lafayette,IN 47901.
