Bill, your mother was a great lady. I remember thinking how unique it was when Brian and I stayed with her a few years back; I was forty years old and staying at my older buddy&s grandmother&s house. You don&t get to say that often. She chatted with us as we ate Arni&s pizza for each meal(bring one back please and I&ll pay you when you get here). That night when I went to get in bed the covers were turned back. I felt at home and like a little boy again. Sometimes, you want to feel like a little boy again. It was a fun and memorable trip. Your mother was the quintessential grandma whose homemade cookies were as good as Brian said they would be.
Funerals are times for celebrating lives well lived. The best way to gauge that success, in my opinion, is to look down the family line at the generations to follow. Based on that, it is obvious that your mother lived a good life and left the world a much better place than when she entered it. Special people do that quietly and with little notoriety. Your mother was special. All of the Bresnahans are some of my family&s favorite people in the world. They all have great hearts. Grandma Bresnahan did good.
I know you and the entire family will miss your mother. I am sorry that we are not there with you, but I hope you feel Susan, the girls, and me praying and asking God to watch over and be with your family.

Ella was a delightful lady. So kind and thoughtful. I was lucky to have known her as a neightbor while she lived in Chalmers. The world was a better place by having her here. God Bless you all. Billie

Dear Bill and Sandy
Sorry to hear of the death of your mother, Bill.
Seems like a long time since we last saw each other
Probably was when you were at the Atlanta Distribution Site and I was still in Shipping at Tippe.
My sympathies to your family.

On behalf of the family of Betty Lou and Jesse L. Hubbard,
I would like to offer our deepest sympathy on the loss of such a dear and special person. We all remember Aunt Ella as a wonderful woman with a laugh and smile ready for us during good times and times of difficulty. She welcomed us with open arms whenever we would show up on her doorstep and was a true comfort to our mother during her last days. Our prayers are with you and Uncle Harry.
Sincerely, Chanelle, Theresa, Michael, Kevin, Shawn, Brian, Timothy and Elizabeth Hubbard and their children and grandchildren
